The staff of DFHCS assist museum, archival and other heritage professionals
in preserving buildings, sites, collections and holdings in a practical
and cost-effective manner through various programs:
- We assess your institution, its mandate and its collections, and
participate in the planning process that will develop your institution
to its full potential, without compromising the preservation of your
site and its collections.
- We facilitate heritage preservation in your institution through policy
preparation, facilities planning, assessments and surveys.
- We offer ongoing services in exhibit design, environmental monitoring
and control, pest management, disaster response and business resumption.
- We can work with your staff or volunteers to determine to most efficient
way to improve conservation standards in your institution or organization.
- Our combined training and experience allow us to offer a wide range
of treatments to archival records and museum artefacts.
- We liaise with local, national and international conservation and
heritage specialists to provide a full range of heritage services to
suit your needs.
